Dreams

When I close my eyes, I see a world where I’ve reached my full potential

A happy, successful, bright life

When I close my eyes, I see myself doing unimaginable things

Things I would never do but because I stopped limiting myself I achieved more

When I close my eyes, I see myself flying

I’m flying so high, no one can see where I am or where I’m headed

I’m in a place I can’t recognize

When I close my eyes, I think of a life where I didn’t dream

A life where I never believed in myself

A life of self-doubt, negativity, and fear

When I close my eyes, I see an unfulfilled life

A life that doesn’t quench my thirst for adventure

A life I am dissatisfied

When I close my eyes, I see two paths before me

One path has many obstacles in the start but looks easy further down the road

The second road has no obstacles in the beginning but it said to get much harder further down

When I close my eyes these are the two path that lie before me

When I open my eyes, I see myself starting to walk on the first path
