dreams.

Dreams. We all strive for it. We fight for it. Sometimes we die for it. I keep going after it. I have fallen. I have been beaten. But I’ll crawl on my belly just to reach it. You cannot and will not stand in my way. I’ll push through these strangers I call friends. I’ll shove past these faces that resemble my family. I do not care. He grabs my arm to hold me back. Looking into those familiar eyes, I almost forgot what I was doing. But then those familiar lips start moving. The words that come out are trying to stop me. I turn towards my dream once again. I forget that face. I move forward without looking back. You cannot stop me. Even if I love you and you say you love me. I will not falter. Not even for you.
