Dreams

Once the light Of morning does show, Dreams so bright Away they go. Must our dreams Be lost in the light But it seems They never do fright. Easily they go Over the wall No matter what they show, To the eyes of all. Out I say! I’ve no wish For them to stay. They don’t do this, Never do they please Lest it entertains Never do they take ease Lest it rains. Away! They must go, Before we fray, I love them so. Our simple minds Cannot withstand A memory that binds Our soul to the land. At last, night falls Into bed we sway. Once again our mind calls, We remember dreams do not stay
