Dreams

In my dreams, you are here,

with bright white wings, you show no fear,

and in the sky you fly so high....

I search for your face through the haze,

listening to your lullaby voice in a daze,

I am swept away, with these words you say....

We go together like peanut butter and jelly,

you cause the butterflies in my belly,

even with this rain, you take away my pain....

Of course this is just in my dreams,

where nothing is what it really seems,

so I'll fall back to sleep, where I am yours to keep...
