Dreams
For years they suffered
Black and white
What is the difference?
Back then to be Black was
Practically a sin
One man had a dream
For it he was murdered
One woman made a choice
For it she was arrested
Nine children wanted equality
For it they were ridiculed
So much hate and for what?
Skin color shouldn't matter so much
All of these people had dreams
And finally we have come to some peace
Though racism still exists
It is not nearly as radical as it once was
