Dreams And Memories

Silence stretches

Between you and i
Its painfully quiet
The music turned on high
To drown out
The painful truth

Time stretches
With no way out
No way to try and change time
To stop from hearing the truth
The painful truth

Friends forever
drifting on a quiet stream
lasting on dreams and memories
that is the painful truth
