Dreams of Another

   A little girl scared of the dark, scared of the family that was supposed to protect her. Abused. Words cut as deep as the actions. She puts herself away. In the corner of herself where no one can ever hurt her again. She dreams of another life. Dreams of being someone else. Dreams of being away from the wickiedness that surrounds her. A little girl not wanting to stay alone for fear of what might happen. A little girl that cries at night. A little girl that holds everything in untill she feels she would explode. She dreams of another time, where she can be free. Dreams of when she will no longer be hurt. Abused by those who are supposed to care about her. She dreams that it will end soon; that no longer she will be punished for something she doesn't know about, for something she couldn't have changed. For being herself. Abused for being a girl. She dreams of another life. She dreams that maybe she wont wake. Dreams that her parents  will discover what has happened to her. What IS happening to her. She dreams that she will be okay.
