Dreams Do Come True
Dreams are the unconscious desires of the heart,
Our nation knew this from the start.
Freedoms from dictators and anarchy,
To be treated in equality.
One man saw this to be true,
A grand gesture was due.
The greatest demonstration to go down in history,
For the rights of life, pursuit of happiness, and liberty.
This man dreamed of a better place,
Despite the color of his face.
Dreams do come true,
What will they be for you?
