Dreams of Escape

To dream of words is as trying to crawl away from the high walls

Losing ones mind in creativity is risking a stable future

The voices of untold stories wait as they scream their calls

Society with its stone hands try to keep the soul in with a lecture

Blank pages wait to echo their untold words

Pen against the used to be alive tree

To be a writer is a prayer I send unto the lords

Characters with their personalities make into me

My trembling hand reaches for far away stars

To take the huge plunge is to take a unknown leap

Daring is what I shall be in order to be like the astronaut who travels to mars

If making it means risking everything I love I will not weep

When a person awakens to reality

They loose their sense of wonder and immortality
