Dreams of healing

I dreamt one night

Of meeting the one

Who would heal my soul

And put the holy ointment

On Wounds

Of old

And dreamt of halcyon nights

Spent in arms

Of calm and warm love

And peace in spirit and mind

I dreamt of forever

And happily ever after

Fairy tale ending and beginning

Into forever until forever

And radio played longing

Song related belonging

With her

Silken skin and hair

Flowing

Blending

Soul-binding

Eyes blinding

Belonging

Until woken dream state

Thronging, gonging, longing

Made real

By sweat-induced

Hot body and soul seduced

Un-belonged song

Turned to mantra

Of lost un-belonging
