Dreams on Hold

She yearns for the freedom of being herself

Spending time doing the things she loves

Her burning desire to work for herself

And conquering her fears

Investing money in her dreams

But she’s afraid of failure

Her friend offers her a chance

To do exactly what she dreams

Not knowing what the future holds

She generously declines

Years later she loses her husband
