Dreams of Mine

Laying down at 3 am,

In the darkness of the night

I feel an irresistable urge

To write and write and write.

Something more practical

Is what I had in mind

But the happiness that writing brings

Is more than money finds.

Life is short, the cliche goes

So why live life miserable?

If writing is what my future holds,

Then I can't wait to grow old.
