Dream's Place

I close my eyes and see a sight

Of a peacful shaded light

So dark it is in mind

Yet soon brightens with thoughts pure and kind

A peaceful state that light brings

Like the swiftness of doves' wings

It comes from mind to head

In colors like green, yellow, and red

With breezes that bring blue skies

And sweet soft lulabies

That make me float in an awkward dance

As if I was under its peaceful trance

With a jaybird's song and thick running stream

It all seems so real, as though it wasn't a dream
