The Dreams We Have

(poems go here)The Dreams We Have By, Isiah Des'hawn Lewis You and I, Use to see balloons, Flying across the sky, As we grew older, We saw the airplanes go by, We have seen it all, The human race, Has grown and thrived, So well, We turn on each other, For power, And threaten each others, Ability to survive, Madness from dusk til dark, Pray inbetween the blinks you take, God will think of you, No matter what you think, Sound the alarms, Danger has come, The news speaks of war, But we thought, Freedom has won, Here we are, Standing, One by one, Lights from the window, Fill the room, An abduction, Can be assumed, Questions being asked, And names being called, There searched the room, They looked for us all, I remember in a attic, A little girl, Too afraid to cry, Would be comforted by her mother, Who held her silence, By her side, We as people, Fear what we don't understand, So here creates, Madness, So what happens next, Let your fear go, Remember when you and I, Saw someone flash a message, Warning the public, Causing a panic, Something's out there, The news channel covers the story, But you feel as if, It's a lie, Staring out the window, Asking yourself "What is going on" Floating in the sky, Balloons cover far and wide, We consume more than what we need, And kill off those, We don't see fit, To survive, So here they come, One by one, See what we do, To each other, Why would heaven think, We genuinely love each other, As they pass by, We watch, Without hesitation, Madness erupts, See what thirst for power, Can do to us, Go towards the east, Just watch the balloons go by, Something is coming down, Red alert, Something from the atmosphere, Came to earth, Flash the message, Something is here, As more balloons come down, Don't pay it no attention, Get lost in the east, Pray inbetween blinks, Speak your love for him, Don't let your talk become cheap, Another flashing message, From the east, And I think to myself "What is out there" A blinding light, Freezes my vision, I enter there, I awake, I saw my spiritual vision, Out my window, A balloon stuck to the tree, Must've been a bad dream, Or so it could seem"
