Dreamt of Sorrow

I love you Meaning every last feeling and emotion is true You always made me smile To the point where I dreamed of me walking down the aisle Of our wedding ceremony I could never picture myself being lonely I could always count on you to hold me You forgot the simple things Like what happiness can bring No I’m not asking for a ring You get mad and frustrated And make me feel hated Make everything so complicated We yell and scream And for you to hit me was never a dream It’s a nightmare That brings tears and fear When you said you would always care I remembered that. I accept your mistakes Even though my body aches I love you Meaning every last feeling and emotion is true But it’s hard to hide this bruise You said you’re sorry I remember the last time this happened You said sorry after my eye was blackened But still I smile I’m not sure if I want to walk down the aisle Of our wedding ceremony Because of that you feel threatened that I will leave you lonely. So you choke me Then you held me I forgot the simple things Like what happiness can bring As I thought And took my last breath I’d love you to death
