Dress Code

Express yourself so you don’t blend in.

But wait, I can’t, the teacher is teachin.

Who cares about my shorts or my skorts,

I want to wear what I want without having to go to courts.

The pink in my hair is an expression of me

So please, don’t make fit in like a lock and a key.

So what if my toes want to show, it’s hot.

I’m in school so don’t be on me like the swat.

I want to be me, so don’t fuss with my style.

Please, I don’t want to be another paper in your file.

<p>I hated the dress code in school. I live in Florida and it&#39;s hot so therefore I wanted to wear flip flops, tank tops, and shorts that didn&#39;t go down to my knees.</p>
