Dress Code
As a tumbleweed tumbles it collects more and more branches,
until at last the original bundle of sticks and thorns is unrecognizable.
Suddenly the tumbleweed is now a larger problem than it once was.
Instead of being fixed those few branches that are at the root of the problem are ignored.
Dress code in school systems is the center of the tumbleweed.
"Show enough but not too much," is what women are taught,
Oppressed from a young age of the freedom of dressing how women want to.
Now the opinions of men are of significance,
Men aren't wearing it,
So why is the approval of men necessary?
Yet suddenly women are dressing for men.
No longer is there self satisfaction
Crippling pressure
Corrupts the minds of women worldwide.
"I wonder if he will like it."
No you've got it wrong do YOU like it.
Women worlwide looking at each other with sympathy,
"Oh that poor American girl dressing slutty for men."
"Oh that poor Iraqi girl dressing fully covered for men."
Who really are the oppressed ones?
The tumbleweed needs to be abruptly stopped,
And every twig and branch needs to be destroyed.
