Dried Sorrows

You've got a thirst to consume away all the pain

And everytime I begged you to pour it down the drain

I was ignored

I was neglected

You told me to stop telling you what to do,

you were feeling disrespected

But how can I let you swallow a bitter pill

How can I get you to stop

and prevent your heartbeat from getring ever still?

Every single time I see as a different person, my heart begins to drop

Will she leave? Will she leave?

I'm always afraid to ask because the question is retorical

Take another sip of the empty bottle you hold

maybe in its abscence you'll notice the house is getting cold

Where are we now

Where are you now

I wish I could find you

but I would need a time machine, because right now you're not the real you

Please come back, come back to who you once were

Prevent a crashing of events that is bound to occur

because of the actions you have committed

it's a murder of ohana you've permitted

Let me wish upon a star, that things will get better

because I already know that most of the stars are dead

just like this hope
