Drift Wood

I miss you as if I have never felt that feeling before

It reminds me of an ocean flat you walk over and peer through

not knowing what is beneathe you

if suddenly it will shatter and crash over me

and then leave me stranded on an unknown shore

the wind pulling my hair from my face the freshness - Alive Feelng -

the water over my toes it is clear and absolute

memories crest and barrel form the fragments that will never become whole again
