Drifters

Awake in strange places filled with blurred faces

Under the moon’s light follow the beacon to your next flight

Your heads in the sky your body’s astray

Suit shadows to alleys, far far away

Street lights will guide you when you find your eyes dim

Never quite focused, restless at rim

Hands are calling from the corner of your sight

Go back to sleep it’s too hard to fight

Forget the days the colors were dry

Wait for the night set sail to the sky
