Drifting

Standing in the rain, Looking for some sort of change-- Hoping for the best, But feelings can't be laid to rest. When love, once strong becomes empty, dead, or gone, tears will be shed Because not all love is dead. Once returned, now unrequited thoughts from feelings are omitted. A quest for happiness long overdue, Mends broken hearts once split in two.
