Drifting

Slowly and silently Clamly and gently. Leave me to float Out where no one else goes. I rest my hand upon the air Let life live Without a single care For i am a drifter, A small piece of wood Hugging the waves As my body should. Drifter is an ugly name Not one given at birth but another name that was given to me By silly men on Earth. For drifting is my act One that I am goof at Tell me that I am good Tell me that drifting is Somewhat understood. For who desires to stay? In one place from day to day. Not me I say. Let me drift, Amongst the waves.
