Drifting

Drifting into the solace of memories The Nightmares trailing by every step In rush of somewhere beyond reach Unleashing everything behind nothing to trace Yet no matter where I hide or run Stuck in the midst of chaos The loud crying suppressed moans The reality is hard to swallow I end up from where I began The way I look at it seems nothing but a mere smile Lies within it the scars so deep into soul Carries the burden of soul that cannot remorse Weary eyes in search of solace beyond memories.
