Drifting
You sat across me
Feeling the distance growing
Hearing the shifting of our feet
No more room left for hoping
We fight for a reason to stay
But we know that it's too late
We are left feeling hopeless
Tongue tied, breathless
Attacking the silence
We couldn't find a balance
We need to let this go
And step away from the palace
