Driftwood fire

A single ray of moonlight

illuminates the way

down to the gentle ocean

where you have sailed away

My love,I walk the sea shore

and gather driftwood there

Imlight a fire and think of you

and wonder how you fare

Within me is an empty place

that holds the shape of you

I lie on the sand

and gaze above

into the endless blue
