Drip drip

Drip, drip I heard.

For what could that be?

Drips of a red ooze flowing down a counter a case.

I couldn't.

How could I not?

How was I gonna face the world?

This cold, monstrous, frightening world.

What was I to do?

So I didn't.

I ran from it.

Ran from the drips of the countercase,

Ran from my dirty hands,

Ran from the monster I had transformed in.

For what I had done was not to be known.

To be the cause of someone death,

is a sin not even God can forgive.

So I ran from the countercase,

ran from the world,

ran from God.

For what had I become?
