Drip, Drip, Drop

Drip, Drip, Drop

The sound will never stop,

Like a leak in pipe

Or when the heavy sky lets go.

Drip, Drip, Drop

The pain will never stop,

Like a dagger striking the breast

Or when an ache is in the heart.

Drip, Drip, Drop

The memories will never stop,

Like staining a white page with ink

Or when imprinting intilials in the bark of an oak.

Drip, Drip, Drop

The tears never stop,

Like when a child is upset they didn't get their way

Or when a girl had been torn by her love.

Drip, Drip, Drop

The heartache never stops,

Like when the strings of the heart are pulled too strongly

Or when someone squeezes the heart too tightly.

Drip, Drip, Drop

The lies will never stop,

Like when he said he loved you

Or when he said he would never let you go.

Drip, Drip, Drop

The blood will never stop,

Like the scars that struggle to heal

Or when a hand shakes violently covered in crimson.

Drip, Drip, Drop

The heart will one day stop,

Like the day must end for the night to come

Or when the battle must come to an end.

Drip, Drip, Drop

The sound will never stop,

Like the heart monitor slowly beeping

Or when it goes completely flat line.

Drip, Drip, Drop

The pain continues to never stop,

Like the ones who called her their daughter cry

Or when the ones who called her their friend lost one.

Drip, Drip, Drop

The rain will one day stop,

Like the rain that falls from the cold stone

Or when you say your last goodbye.

Drip... Drip... Drop...
