The Drive

Early mornings, later nights Larger vision, Greater heights The thoughts that seep into the mind Of those who may get left behind A life consumed and to no end To develop a will that cannot bend The countless tears and times you bleed To fulfill what you must for others need To those you know who've made you great You crave to give a finer taste A lavish life to those well deserved Who believed in once a dream deferred Rise you shall the vision clear Yet still must face ones deepest fear While none shall see these fearful thoughts Its feeling instant when eyes lock They get a glimpse of the true face An intention void of time and space You can't be stopped but still they try The glistened purpose in your eye The DRIVE
