Driving And Crying
Dear 17 year old me,
You are so beautiful and you're convinced you aren't. You sit in dark rooms hopeing your existence would disappear. You let another control your thoughts, emotions, and actions. You watch yourself fall apart, you watch yourself drown. Drowning in the idea that no one is capable of loving you. Letting him rip apart everything that made you, you. Burying the strength you throught you had. It's still in there, you are so strong, you are still you. You are more than the way he sees you. You are more than the nights spent in your bathtub with your friend that seemed to never be sharp enough. You are more than having to pull over to the side of the road at midnight when you couldn't see the road anymore because you were crying to much. You are more than ending your life at 17. There is hope for you. You are going to travel across the counrty, and fall in love. You are going to become the person that was buried underneath the idea that no one is capable of loving you.
Sincerely, Me
