Drop Off
Toe dipped in
cool refreshing ripples
this watery grave created from mine eyes.
Deeper, until swimming is forgotten.
Floating no longer an option.
Why did you not feel my current?
Do not fear anemones, I am an empty shell.
Sorry to disappoint, great white.
Was that I was, once...
How dare you not notice
throw me lifesaver.
Cruising into oblivion
my haunted eyes locked upon the back of your head.
Apologies to the vessel of my soul
bloated and drifting downstream.
