drought

All that tearful face

It’s not me

All that sorrow in her eyes

It’s not me

I don’t know how to live

Nor how to love or give

Don’t know how to cherish each day

Don’t know how to see the sky blue

Can’t say that it’s gon’ be alright

No matter how much I’d try

No one can save me from myself

But me

And I can’t be wishing that they help me

It’s me

I’ve dreamed of the world falling right into place

But once reality hits I can’t go back to shape

I’m like: “lord please give a sign”

A guidance that I

Could follow and finally reach some divine place

I want to be loved and love my own life

I truly just want to be living my life

I need to be able to finally see

A light in my life that be guiding me

towards something more that I fathomed

Something more that I saw

Something more that I felt when I heard “girl is mine”

Little girl, very shy

But big dreams oversized

Taking out Christmas lights

Like im all in limelight

I like to cherish that and fly back to those times

‘Specially when I listen to my childhood tracks

And then I realize that it’s me, only me

All the things that I did it’s always been me

All disorders and fear, any failures I had

It has always been me who overcame things like that

So I’m wishing, I wish that I’ll find glimpse of hope

To pick me up from this emotional drought
