Drowning
Weak minded
I just wish I was stronger,
My will power is breaking
It won't hold up for much longer.
These Thoughts
They've been circulating,
Now they're burning through my brain.
The Desire
Soon becomes overwhelming,
To mute this agonizing pain.
The Silence
It's screaming- and it gives me away,
Shows all that I'm hiding and gives a frightening exposé:
Of my true colors- the disregard for myself;
My hatred for others.
My Moral Values
Are soon to be nonexistent,
That will leave me with nothing;
But alone, desperate and wishing.
I Wish
I was different- I wish I was better,
Than this shell of a person;
Who can't get it together.
I'm Tired
Of trying:
Feeling the pain that comes with my soul dying.
I'm Sinking
So done with thinking;
It'll get better.
There's No Change
In the forecast, no end to the stormy weather...
I Just Want
It to be over,
I don't see myself recovering-
Can't even fathom living my life sober.
Have Mercy
Put me out of my misery,
Don't let it take too long,
Put an end to these lies and false hopes.
Because
I Know
I'm
Too Far Gone
