Drowning

My frame was out of focus

Cause I didn’t even notice

The high waters surrounding

And I was so close to drowning

Stuck inside this tub

No matter how hard you scrub

The stain remains

You can drive it down the drains

But the pain

Will always stay

You can dowse it with soap

But that won’t help you cope

Cause by the end of the day

That will only make it fray

Blood stains don’t fade away

Is what they always say

The blood is on your hands

The scarlet plasma expands

Until everyone’s hands are tainted

Red, fingerpainted

On the bathroom walls

An angel falls

Your face bawls

Even all the tears you cried

Can’t clean up the mess you hide
