Drowning
Barely living
Always holding my breath
Never letting myself lose control
While forcing a smile onto my face
I'm on the verge of breaking
On the edge of my seat
Waiting for the day
I just stop feeling
Hoping for that day to come sooner
Never letting anyone see
How broken I really am
Never let them see
How much I’m suffering
Slowly drowning
Somehow keeping my head above the water
Everything that keeps me living
Slowly starts to disappear
My life raft is running out of air
And there is no land in sight
My voice hoarse from screaming mayday
Guess I’m on my own
I don’t blame anyone
For not coming to my rescue
I’ve made some mistakes
And I pushed people away
I put up a wall
That way no one could get in
Never letting anyone see
How broken I really am
Never let them see
How much I suffering
Slowly drowning
Somehow keeping my head above the water
Everything that keeps me living
Slowly starts to disappear
My life raft is running out of air
And there is no land in sight
But i'll be fine
Cause I’m me
