drowning

Just because I carry this, it does not mean it is not overwhelming,

the past is so haunting I cannot seem to stop dwelling.

"If you get over it you will be okay"

I would love to see you deal with all this pain one day.

I want to see your reaction,

I want to see how easy it would be for you to find a distraction.

Think of how it is to be in someone's shoes,

Before you go and tell them to do something new.
