Drug Addict

She never told you how much you hurt her but then again you never asked so here it it goes.... Dear drug, I know I'm an addict For you have abused me and left me scared Mentally, you have broke me Yes, you broke my heart You are no friend of mine You had me thinking for that slight moment that the high you gave me would last Deep and deeper Making me lose my mind Shortening my breath Going back because I want that high to last Physically , I trusted you And now I think I need rehab.... The bruises I inflicted on myself Hurting myself trying to please you... Why didn't I get it when my head got dizzy and I began to get tired, Tired of wanting the high to last... Tired of being taken advantage of, still Going back, because I wanted the high to last Emotionally, as tears run down my face because you made me think too hard. Wanting the attention , doing anything for love, for that high... Yet I know your no good Your no good for my heart, mind body or soul, I can't let get go, Simply because I keep going back because I want the high to last And I know it's going to ware off And I'll go back to wanting more.... Attention More of you.... my addiction Sincerely, ‎Your Addict
