I drum, therefore I am

Yearning for friction

Enduring the force

Keeping the honesty

of sound waves

I drum, therefore I am

Tribal woes set forth

Yell for the hills

Brace for everlong stories

to be told

I drum, therefore I am

Sharp like a knife

Confident and swift

Yet humble and keen

like a bloodhound

I drum, therefore I am

Crescendo-ing into greatness

Complex and gratified

Pulsating through the soul

of the time keeper

I drum, therefore I am

I am a drum

The drum is me

Soft and hard in unison

with clear intentions

I drum, therefore I am

I am a drum

The drum is me

I am THE drum

I am free.
