Drunk

Everything

Moving in a blur

As if on a drunken stupor

Stumbling with every step

I’m falling

Forgetting which parts of my body

I need to erect

Emotions pour out

Producing pools

Deposits in which

I drown

Submerging my self

Within the deep

Dark depths of

Oceans

I created

Alarm clocks screech

Like a screamo band

Playing at a silent venue

Scaring away the birds and

Punishing the minds of those

Who drank until it hurt

Unsure of past events

We put on a mask

Pretend that everything is normal

Go to work

Go to school

Go to class

It all goes by

So fast

Thus we come home

That same day

To drink

Drink

Drink

The night away
