Duality

See the laying of a student,

He finds it hard to see the bed,

Through stacks of paper cuts and misplaced staples

Overshadowed by the good times left for dead.

Who is that dying near the lion?

She is but a timid ghost,

A shell of everything she’s seen before this.

Admired as she sits upon a guidepost.

Her dirty mind is just a bottle,

An empty vessel of drunk up good times.

She's not alone she brings a lamb

a pet lamb, and lots of relief.

The lamb likes to chase a lion,

But they’ve been alike the whole time.

They root from the same soil, and grew in the air together.
