Duality
As there is light, there must be darkness because one cannot simply exist without the other. What is the best moment in your life when not measured against the worst? What is the light at the end of the tunnel without the tunnel? Two sides on the same coin that must contract but always come together as one. It is and always will come down to personal choice and perspective and the karma, or consiquences that come with it. The path we walk lost, the road bloody and broken and yet, if we learn we come out all the better for it. If we learn, or condemn ourselves to the same mistakes and remain on the same bloody broken and lost road not wrong but still not yet truly right. Love thy neighbor, Honor thy self, and treat others as you would have them treat you. Simple words that hold so much meaning and weight behind them and yet none as the same time. Love, Hate, Pain, Joy, in the eye of the beholder they all mean the same. Behind every ounce of pleasure, a promise of pain. Behind every angel’s smile a devil lies in wait.
