The Dungeons Confound Me So by Hunter Gibson

Oh, dark and dastardly dungeon, how you have been so grey,

The sounds you make are all too loud for those who pray.

Through the night I hear a voice, maybe it's my father,

But for all I know, and for I fear, it could be a martyr.

My enemy, my friend, my only other being,

Talk to me in this far away dungeon for I have none to talk with.

Please, talk to me, talk me out of it, for the day is coming soon,

It's about to be my unfortunate doom.

My day has come, so sadly it has,

Goodbye dark and fearful dungeon, we may meet again,

As I make my way to the noose, hear my last words,

Please, oh dark dungeon, rest in peace...and let me be cured.
