Dusk

Sonny is bright

A source of light

Others bask in his greatness

Luna is shy

Seen only at night

And merely tosses out shadows

Sonny oozes fame

While Luna’s in pain

Because when she comes out, he leaves

And although he seems to glow

In his heart he knows

His girl is trying to hide

She sits among stars

But shines brightest of all

And Sonny wants only to see her

But dusk is so precious

Because for a few seconds

They share some time in the sky
