Dust

A wave screams with nothing left behind,

A field of ashes where a girl was left crying,

Before her eyes was everything she loved gone.

Surrounded by a graveyard frozen in time,

Only dust remains where hope use to stand,

Lives were lost and will forever be forgotten.

Panic flowed like a raging river,

In the distance the flames still rage on,

Giving the light darkness.

It stole her dreams only leaving scars to remain,

So she curled up on the ground,

And she laid there to die,

Forever will cry for she has nothing left.
