Dust

(Inspired by Urayoan Noell's 'Buzzing Hemispheres')

/ Flash red / Flash green / Stop and go tendencies of these nightmarish ways / Vampiric ways linger beneath the surface of an angel / Clinging to you / Clinging to her / Clinging to him / Clinging to some idea of what normal is / Failing to find steady ground / Sandy toes slipping between cracked earth / My ankle is caught in the rocks / You walk on without me / Desert lungs cry out sand storm words / Your ears were jungles who could not hear me / I am blown away like dust /
