Dust to Dust

Old days radiate my memory

Swelling everything sensory

I try to escape this nighlty bedtime reel

I can't feel that love in me anymore

I can only hear the slamming doors

I can't see the way you looked at me without disgust

I can't believe I let you walk away with my trust

When the fire burns bright

I will sing you my goodbye

After all it's just ashes to ashes

Dust to dust

Hey everyone, I'm a very thoughtful and introspective aspiring writer. I've gone through some heavy stuff and writing helps tremendously and I joined powerpoetry to keep me inspired and going and help deal with the demons. I love music, making independent short films and music videos and of course writing.
