Dust In The Wind & Cheaters That Sin
I get the picture.
I am not part of the mixture.
I am a replaceble fixture.
A sacred creature.
The main feature.
I know the things that are & the things that were.
Is it really over?
Are you sure?
I don’t have a cure.
My intentions pure.
I am everything you thought.
It was I you caught.
It was you I fought. I had enough.
I called your bluff.
Graves is where death rots.
Nothing is what I got.
Love & happiness is what I sought.
Lies & hatred, envy & greed,
A love that’s dead.
An unplanted seed.
Sloath & pride.
An unwed bride.
Gluteny & lust is what you taught.
So few know what I knew.
It was suppose to be just us two.
An opportunity you blew.
I know I glow.
Grass is what you mow.
Find another hoe.
