Dying Mind
I sit here,
Watching my life disappear before my eyes,
January,
Febuary,
July,
November,
December,
I can't remember yesterday,
I can't comprehend tomorrow,
Trapped in my dying mind,
Living a life I don't remember,
This anxiety is destroying my mind,
Familiar people surround me,
But names elude me,
Promises made,
Are Promises forgotten,
Living a life I don't want,
Feeling like I always wanted to do something different,
Be something different,
When I don't even remember wanting it,
March,
June,
October,
Fighting for a life I want,
But don't even know I want it,
Who I was yesterday,
Was murdered by this dying mind,
Who I am today,
Will not exist tomorrow,
April,
May,
August,
September,
Who I am today,
Is already forgotten,
Who I am tomorrow,
Will never have existed.
