Dying in Wait

The only girl I truly love is across the world and I pray I see her soon

But every time I look I feel her too, staring at the same moon

I can only hope she feels me too, reaching out I'm all alone

I try to fill her void while she's gone

But as time goes on I feel she will be home soon.

And I've made too many mistakes for her to forgive

But she knows that since she's the one I'll be ready to give

Her the world and the moon it's hers for the taking

And walk along the beach while it's raining

So I can kneel down in front of her

the only one I could think of marrying

And give her the pebble that will be the best ring.

I'm sorry to consistently spam

And I can't help but joyfully rant

And I know the small possibility of me and you

It's like 14831665200 to 2

And if you don't know what that means then you have no clue

How unlikely it is for you and me to be true

You wouldn't believe this

I can't wait to feel your kiss

But I'll be patient and believe in this

Because it's worth the wait and I don't possess the lust

So just talk to me a little because I can't

Keep going without you as my fam.

When you moved away it created a hole in my heart

So immense it tore me apart

I can't wait until we start our dreamy life

And if you would please forgive me of my wrong strife

I'll give you everything I can and above

Just to be able to call you my love

It's so intense I can't help but dream

Until you come back and we become that team

That everyone tries to imitate

But the go crazy and need to sedate

Because we are too great

For others to duplicate.

It's 8 o'clock and I haven't gotten a lick of sleep

Every five seconds I open my eyes and peek

To see if you're right there next to me

But immediately realize it's just my blanket

So I close my eyes again and go to the place we met

So beautiful I could see you from across the room

Clearly beyond these women who think that to groom

Will make them noticeable the instant someone walks in the room

But you don't even try and I saw you so soon

So my dream was to continue but I had to check again for I am a goon

So I walk outside and stare at the moon and pray you're staring at it too

And we are connected for a moment and reach to share this instant with each other

And realize before we say it that we know what is going on in the world

That we are forever soulmates in this place of heartaches

And I'll never bring that on you I'll be your savior,

Your knight in shining armor

We'll always be in good behavior because we know that we are together forever.
