Dyslexia
I don’t read things backwards
Dog doesn’t become god
Racecar is always racecar
It’s like when I read my mind becomes a blizzard
They think my mind is flawed
B’s become D’s, Q’s and P’s
You see what I mean
W’s, M’s N’s, and U’s
I don’t need some miracle or breakthrough
I don’t need your help or pity
Sweetie, this is who I am
It’s not some disability
I’m tired of this stigma you put on me
I have a gift, dyslexia
It’s me
