Dyslexia


They say I’m slow, illiterate.

Another failed spelling.

Another humiliation.

Reminding me I'm dumb.

 

I say designer, creator, and perfector.

Working harder to become greater, later.

 

I have to use compensation,

To get the same information,

But then I create connections that aren't the usual interpretation,

I exhibit understanding in terms of innovation,

To make my own unique creation.
